Yahya Services LLC (Snowhite), established in 1974, was the first commercial laundry and dry cleaning company to be established in Oman.

It remains today the market leader in dry cleaning in Oman. Snowhite consists of 4 factories and 75 locations across the country. The company also executes large contracts for the Ministry of Defense, ROP, ISS, military and civil hospitals and many first class hotels. Snowhite moved from Ruwi to its large capacity factory in Bausher in 1993 and is equipped with state of the art, computerized laundry and dry cleaning equipment from the USA, Italy and UK. The factory has a production capacity of over 2000 kgs per hour, the highest available capacity anywhere in Oman. It is segmented into commercial, institutional and hospital laundry areas to meet the different processing requirements. Besides its main factory at Bausher, Snowhite also operates satellite production units at Sohar, Nizwa and MAM to serve the interior of Northern Oman and Batinah Coast and has a processing factory in Salalah that serves the southern region.

Snowhite is committed to environmentally safe operations and therefore uses chemicals of UK origin that are non-toxic and mostly biodegradable. It also treats wastewater before disposal per guidance of the environmental authorities. Snowhite is also engaged in the trade of laundry chemicals. Snowhite’s business strategy envisages diversification into other industrial services such as cleaning services, catering, laundry management contracts, linen management and office services, to name a few. Snowhite employs more than 300 personnel, consisting of both expatriates and many Omani employees. The latter are employed in all areas including production, sales, transportation, administration and accounts. Snowhite is committed to the employment and training of more Omanis to further its participation in shaping and aiding the Omani economy.

Michael Halkett, the General Manager of Yahya Services LLC (Snowhite) has in excess of 30 years of experience in General and Retail Management of which 9 years was in Retail Trade, Marketing and Industrial Services within a multi-cultured business environment in Oman. He carries overall responsibility for Snowhite Laundry & Dry Cleaning, nationally, and the aim to sustain growth through the development of future diversification opportunities.
